Abstract
Tricuspid regurgitation is the most prevalent valvular disease in the general population. However, it has traditionally been largely forgotten. This article reviews anatomy, etiology (with special attention to atriogenic tricuspid regurgitation), prognostic involvement, diagnostic methods, and therapeutic indication of this valve disease.
