Abstract

In this work, based on experimental data from various researchers, parameters influencing the yield of by-products in the process of liquid-phase chlorination of ethylene in the production of 1,2-dichloroethane were identified. The analysis performed will allow us to outline the main di-rections for improving the process of liquid-phase chlorination of ethylene and its equipment design in order to increase the selectivity of the process and reduce the cost of the product
