AN EMPIRICAL APPROACH TO ASSESSING THE DEMAND FOR URBAN FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION 评估城市货运需求的实证方法

The purpose of the article is to establish principles and procedures for estimating freight transport demand. A classification of freight transportation is proposed based on specific movement characteristics, with attention focused on its urban component. The objectives of the analysis of demand for freight transportation are determined and an empirical approach to achieving them is proposed. This approach is based on collecting data on the movement of goods. The main variables necessary for the analysis and the requirements for them are deter-mined, focused on the movement of goods and vehicles. Specific problems associated with data collection are addressed

The article analyzes the features of the operation of double-layer steels and bimetals, the ad-vantages and disadvantages of these structural materials are indicated. The main problems that are when welding joints made of double-layer steels are listed. The influence of the contact thermal resistance of a heat transfer surface made of multilayer materials on the intensity of heat exchange is considered. An approach to the determination of contact thermal resistance is proposed. The necessity of taking into account the contact thermal resistance in the design of chemical equipment with heat exchange devices made of double-layer steels and bimetals is shown

In this work, based on verification technological calculations, the efficiency of the desorption column for extracting hydrogen sulfide from phenol-sulfide water in workshop 86/57 of the pet-rochemical production of Angarsk Petrochemical Company JSC was assessed. Based on the calculation results, a conclusion was made about the low efficiency of the contact devices in-stalled in the column, and measures were proposed to increase the efficiency of the desorption column

It is proposed to use matrix methods and computer technology instead of classical methods for determining objective functions based on the primary parameters of electronic circuits. This approach significantly reduces the time for the analysis and synthesis of electronic circuits and simplifies the forms of writing analytical expressions. The application of the matrix method on the example of a passive electronic low-pass filter is considered. Sensitivity analysis, statistical analysis, tolerance optimization and transient analysis were performed
