Various studies, researches, websites and reports on AI have been analysed to achieve the objective of the study. Results: It has been assessed that ChatGPT is being used for various purposes in education and research. However, it also has potential risks such as spreading fake and plagiarized content and in the long term can affect the research ethics and integrity. Abstract
