Abstract
The key characteristics of thrust and radial bearings used in NPP circulation pumps are presented and discussed. The operating conditions of the thrust and radial bearing of the main circulation pump are considered. The comparative characteristics of bearings depending on the operating conditions are given. Recommendations are given on the choice of thrust and radial bearings in nuclear industry pumps.
