Assessment of the technical level of installations horizontal directional drilling

Abstract

The article considers the concept of the technical level (TL) of engineering products, the regulatory and technical foundations and the need to assess the TS at each stage of the machine’s life cycle. The fundamentals of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) technology work are considered. The review and classification of modern HDD installations depending on the technical parameters of the equipment is given. The results of an expert assessment of the indicators of the significance of HDD equipment parameters are presented. Calculations of specifications TL for the presented equipment were carried out. The results of the study are presented in graphical form. The article is published based on the results of the research work carried out as part of the competition for grants for the implementation of research work by scientific and pedagogical workers SPbGASU in 2023.
