PERANCANGAN APLIKASI SISTEM ADMINISTRASI BUKU PERPUSTAKAAN DI SMPN 56 JAKARTA

Abstract

The existence of technology has influenced most institutions in Indonesia to continue to develop and depend on it. Educational institutions always need systems to collect, manage, store, review and distribute information. As is the case in the Library of SMP Negeri 56 Jakarta which requires a computerized information system so that it can help facilitate the administration of library books. From the problems that occur, the purpose of the research being carried out is to make an application for the Library Book Administration System at SMP Negeri 56 Jakarta to help and facilitate the management of library book administration data including borrowing, returning, and making reports. An integrated and automated web application system to assist users in borrowing and returning books, making reports more easily and accurately than using standard data processing applications such as Ms. Word or Ms. Excel. The research method used for this final project is a qualitative method, and uses the stages of system development in applications with the waterfall method. The results of this study will form supporting applications in facilitating employees and book borrowers in the library.
