The physiological quality of the seeds was evaluated in a completely randomized design using 11 clones. The data were submitted to analysis of variance and the Scott-Knott test (p≤0.05). Principal component analysis was carried out and a UPGMA dendrogram was created. July is the most recommended time for carrying out crosses, and August for harvesting the seeds. The UFMG01, LICURI, UFVJM06, UFVJM29, CAMBRAIA, UFVJM25, TCARRO 01, ARRUBA and UFMG02 clones were classified as more precocious for the first floral buds.
