Abstract
Melioidosis, although endemic, is often misdiagnosed and underreported in India. This is a case report of a 36 year old male patient, who was thought to have a head injury and aspiration pneumonia, and was ultimately diagnosed to have melioidosis, based on peculiar clinical, radiological and microbiological characteristics.
