Abstract

Morphometric and histochemical changes of muscle spindles and tendon spindles of Golgi were studied in the soleus and gastrocnemius muscles of tenotomized and immobilized rats. The number of intrafusal fibres and mechanoreceptors did not change after either tenotomy or immobilization.
