Abstract
Information Display (ID) has an exciting year ahead. We will celebrate our 60th anniversary—the first issue of ID was published in October 1964. It was inevitable, after the founders agreed to “encourage the scientific, literary and educational advancement of information display and its allied arts,” that they set out to create chapters around the world, hold conferences to educate people, and provide platforms to publish members’ groundbreaking work.
