Due to its mode of transmission, it is commonly affecting the upper limbs. Definitive diagnosis can be obtained by fungal culture test on secretion fluids, pus, bloods or tissue biopsy. Abstract
Sporotrichosis is a rare type of fungal infection caused by Sporothrix fungus.
