To address this problem, this paper proposes a visual perception evaluation model used to assess the weights of buildings based on multi-factor considerations to determine the order of building simplification, and weights the vertex importance for the classical QEM algorithm to redefine the collapsing cost of the edges, which achieves the purpose of reducing the complexity of the model while maintaining the visual quality. Abstract
