Immune markers of the stress reaction and its ambiguous changes in patients died and discharged from the clinic with improved health are considered. Abstract
A general nonspecific adaptive reaction, stress developing during the sequential implementation of the stages “anxiety,” “resistance,” and “resolution,” is considered in a limited cohort of patients who died and survived after cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass. Immune markers of the stress reaction and its ambiguous changes in patients died and discharged from the clinic with improved health are considered.
