Manufacturability of curvilinear designs was evaluated, and potential solutions are proposed in the context of design rule, design rules check (DRC) and optical proximity correction (OPC). Abstract

Curvilinear design was applied to standard cell layout to improve electrical characteristics and reduce manufacturing costs.
