Abstract
We will try to identify what lies behind the creation of two artists, born in two northern countries, Fiodor Dostoyevsky (1821–1881) in Russia, and Anna-Eva Bergman (1909–1987) in Norway. Among their works, we will focus on The Brothers Karamazov, a work that summarizes all the questions of its author, and on the evolution of Bergman's paintings.
