Abstract

Endophytes are organisms that colonize the host plant without causing any apparent symptoms. Bambusicolous endophytes are microorganisms that inhabit healthy bamboo and establish a symbiotic relationship with the host. They primarily belong to the phylum Ascomycota under the class Dothideomycetes and Sordariomycetes.
