Abstract
The labour market in Russia and economy as a whole experience serious structural changes recent years. Limited operation of economy in existing circumstances leads to the batch of serious changes in the sphere of labour, employment and labour productivi-ty. Staff shortage, lowest ever unemploy-ment rate are important reasons for labour productivity decrease, that generally reduces the labour efficiency and business activity in the country. The problems and trends of labour market in the scope of modern eco-nomical changes, its influence on the labour productivity will be examined and the meth-odology of labour productivity rating will be presented in the article.
