Abstract
The ant Stictoponera pertusa Lattke, 2004 (Formicidae: Ectatomminae) is recorded for the first time from Sumatra, Indonesia. The specimens have been collected from the leaf-litter of the lowland disturbed forest in West Sumatra Province. Dealate queen is described and illustrated for the first time.
