These two diseases can be isolated or combined. Abstract
Long-term inhalation of silica dust can cause silicosis, but also may induce autoimmune diseases, such as systemic sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjogren's syndrome, anti-histidyl tRNA synthetase antibody (JO-1 antibody) syndrome.
