Abstract

This article is not to be understood in purely didactic terms, but rather as a contribution to an interdisciplinary discourse with linguistic considerations. It offers a brief overview of the literature dealing with the topic of technical language and technical language didactics and presents the technical language seminar ,Technical Language in an Historical Context‘, its aims and content, while also addressing the challenges that teachers are confronted with.
