Advancements in genomic medicine have emerged as a cornerstone of cancer research, allowing for a deeper understanding of the genetic basis of various cancers. The integration of precision medicine techniques has facilitated the identification of specific genetic mutations, paving the way for targeted therapies tailored to individual patients. Genomic profiling has not only enhanced diagnostic accuracy but has also provided valuable insights into cancer heterogeneity, guiding researchers toward more effective and personalized treatment strategies. Immunotherapy has revolutionized cancer treatment by harnessing the body's immune system to target and eliminate cancer cells. The review delves into the remarkable progress in developing immune checkpoint inhibitors, adoptive cell therapies, and cancer vaccines.
