The results of the phytochemical screening identified that pegagan (Centella Asiatica) leaves were positive for containing alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, triterpenoids and saponins at both solvent concentrations. Abstract

Gotu kola (Centella Asiatica) contains the active ingredients alkaloids, saponins, tannins, flavonoids, steroids and triterpenoids.
