Abstract

The issues of creating a hardening coating by plasma spraying of Ti powder on steel grade 45 with subsequent cementation are considered in order to improve mechanical properties and evaluate corrosion resistance. X-ray phase analysis showed the presence of basic (Fe) and strengthening phases (TiC, Fe3C) in the material under study.
