The result of the experiment reveals that weed free treatment recorded lowest weed dry weight for all types of weed and higher yield and yield attributing parameters of upland rice followed by pendimethalin + one hand weeding. Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during the Kharif season of 2013 and 2014 at KVK, South Tripura to evolve effective weed management practices for upland direct seeded rice.
