The aim of this study was to investigate the role of these bone metabolism parameters in the formation of genu varum or genu valgus deformities. \nMethods: 45 patients with genu varum and genu valgus whose vitamin D, Ca, PTH, Mg and ALP parameters were analysed in our outpatient clinic were included in the study. \nResults: 44 (97.8%) of the patients were bilateral and one (2.2%) was unilateral. Abstract
Aim: In recent studies, it has been observed that bone metabolism parameters such as vitamin D, calcium (Ca), parathormone (PTH), magnesium (Mg) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) are not adequately investigated in the diagnosis and treatment of children with genu varum or valgus.
