Abstract
The article introduces readers to the life and creative biography of the outstanding Siberian architect Vladimir Aleksandrovich Sokolovsky on the threshold of his 150th anniversary. The authors describe surviving buildings of the architect in Krasnoyarsk and show the influence of his architecture on the formation of Siberian modern and eclecticism.
