Abstract

Social media are favorable spaces for spreading information and, in this context, educating the community about Covid-19. Podcasts can be a health education tool that is increasingly in demand. The aim of the study was to develop an educational technology on Covid-19, a podcast with guidelines for the population.  This is a methodological, quantitative and validation study, with four stages: 1) requirements gathering through a narrative review of manuals and protocols; 2) construction of the technology; 3) content validation with expert judges; 4) semantic validation with the target audience. The results show that the overall content validation achieved a Cronbach's alpha of 0.90 by the judges and 0.90 by the target audience. The overall average CVI was 0.98. It is concluded that the podcast was considered adequate, with useful information, easy access and appropriate language about Covid-19. It facilitates health education by simplifying the content and allowing dynamic sharing on communication networks.
