Abstract
The observation of supernova neutrinos from SN1987A by KAMIOKANDE was an epoch-making event both for the neutrino astronomy and for supernova physics. The standard picture of stellar evolution and core-collapse supernovae were verified in basic points and their research entered into new advanced stages.
