Abstract
In this issue of Chem Catalysis, Linjuan Zhang and co-workers present Fe/Ni mixed elements as efficient electrocatalysts for improving the oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Their study reveals a synergistic Ni-Fe effect that enhances the OER via exchange energy-gain mechanisms.
