It analyzes their benefits, legal regulations governing their use, and the adaptation of infrastructure for electric scooter traffic. Statistics from four years of traffic accidents involving scooters are provided, their primary locations and causes are analyzed, and conclusions and recommendations for improving electric scooter traffic safety are presented. The analysis shows that in Lithuania, the number of traffic accidents with scooters and the number of casualties in them increase annually, while the legal regulation and adaptation of infrastructure for electric scooter traffic vary among different countries.
