Hepatitis E virus seroprevalence in patients with human immunodeficiency virus: A single-center study in Japan

There was a significant difference in age between anti-HEV IgG-seropositive and -negative individuals (median, 57.5 and 48.0 years, respectively; <em>p</em> = 0.012). There were no significant differences in the other clinical characteristics.
