No significant differences for any of the other variables were observed in males, or at any other height lower than the 80% maximal box jump height for females (<i>p</i> > 0.05). Overall, variations in box height did not influence box jump performance in recreationally trained individuals when the intent to perform a maximal-effort jump was emphasized.
