Abstract
We present a genome assembly from an individual Isothecium myosuroides gametophyte (the slender mouse-tail moss; Bryophyta; Bryopsida; Hypnales; Lembophyllaceae). The genome sequence is 388.3 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 11 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial and plastid genome assemblies have lengths of 104.59 kilobases and 125.02 kilobases in length, respectively.
