This kind of blocks are used against erosion of coastal line as well as to build molo of edging of sea ports. From the several types of formal blocks used in the globe, tetrapod is the one that has been developed the earliest and is most extensively used. Abstract
Breakwater structures are used to shield shores of rivers, seas, ocean or sea ports from destructive forces.
