The maximum likelihood estimator (MLE) and Bayes estimator (BE) of the unknown parameter under the squared error loss (SEL) function are obtained. Three types of confidence intervals are discussed for the unknown parameter. A simulation study is performed to compare the performances of the proposed methods, and two numerical examples have been analyzed for illustrative purposes. Abstract
In this paper, Bayesian and non-Bayesian estimations of the shape parameter of the Inverted Topp-Leone distribution are studied under a progressive Type I censoring scheme.
