Abstract
Orthopaedic surgical infections, in Denmark, are managed heterogeneously, both within the orthopaedic surgical and the clinical microbiological specialty. More uniform guidelines for sampling and clinical microbiological diagnostics for suspected orthopedic surgical infections would be appropriate.
