Through advanced genomic sequencing of clinical samples, we analysed the distribution and mutations of MPXV lineages in Asia.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Phylogenetic analysis revealed a distinct clustering of C.1 strains rise in Northeast Asia in 2023, while genomic examination identified specific consensus mutations like R84K, R665C and L16F in C.1 strains.
