In order to enhance the therapeutic uses of C-PC in oral cancer, further studies may investigate genetically modified microalgae. Abstract

Oral cancer treatment potentially advances with the application of C-phycocyanin (C-PC), a powerful antioxidant produced by cyanobacteria.
