Abstract

Cellular membrane potential when observed across tissues resembles and beautiful patterned landscape of interconnected cells working as a collective. As a primary signaling paradigm, bioelectricity is intertwined across various levels cellular processes, exerting control over high level physiological responses or within the minutiae of biochemical signaling cascades. Research is beginning to recognize the power and influence bioelectricity on cells, expanding knowledge and, consequently, therapeutic interventions. More details can be found in article 2300344 by Devon Charles Cardoso Davidian and co-workers.

(Adv. Therap.)
