The instruments used for data collection was a 20 – items questionnaire titled “Social Networking and Students’ Academic Achievement Questionnaire (SNASAAQ), and achievement test in Mathematics constructed by the researchers, Independent t-test was used as statistical tool for data analysis. Each of the hypotheses was tested at .05 level of significance. The findings of the study revealed that the use of Facebook and YouTube significantly influenced students’ academic achievement by SS II students in Mathematics.
