Successful tuberosity healing seems to correlate with better outcomes. Recent trends indicate interest in cementless fixation, fracture-specific stems and a 135-degree polyethylene opening angle. RSA provides a successful surgical solution for selected proximal humerus fractures. Abstract
Purpose of review: The aim of this review is to summarize information published in the recent peer-reviewed literature on reverse shoulder arthroplasty (RSA) for proximal humerus fractures.
