We argue that harnessing the power of intergenerational storytelling could provide a culturally safe and sustaining practice for fostering psychosocial development among LGBTQ+ people and other equity-seeking populations.</p><p><strong>Public abstract: </strong>Understanding one's identity as part of a group with shared history and culture that has existed through time is important for positive psychological functioning.
