The present study was carried out among 2200 secondary school going tribal students by using purposive sampling in Sidhi District of Madhya Pradesh, India. The result shows that there was significant relationship between gender, tribe, academic achievement and self esteem. Abstract
Self-esteem has long been considered a vital component of good mental health. Self-esteem is each person's belief about his value and importance.
