Therefore, formulation F6 was optimized and compared with the marketed product. Abstract

The research aims to formulate and evaluate the Metoprolol succinate buccal tablets in hypertension treatment. The Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) results depict no incompatibility between the drug and excipients.
