Three different sea states are taken to analyze the impact of irregular waves on the multilayered porous breakwater. The constant boundary element method is used to handle the aforementioned boundary value problem, which is considered one of the most efficient numerical tools for handling complex structured open sea problems. Several wave characteristics associated with the spectral density functions are demonstrated and analyzed for a variety of structural and spectral parameters. Abstract

In this present work, the performance of a two‐layered thick porous breakwater of trapezoidal structure is investigated under the action of irregular waves.
