Abstract

CsPbBr3 quantum dots-embedded SiO2 glasses were synthesized by the spark plasma sintering method as novel scintillators for γ-ray detectors. Their optical and scintillation properties were investigated to examine the scintillation performance. The XRD patterns observed a halo peak of the SiO2 glass phase and diffraction peaks of CsPbBr3.
