The Effect of a Default Nudge on Experienced and Expected Autonomy: A Field Study on Food Donation

The results show the default nudge reduced participants' <i>expected</i> autonomy but not their <i>experienced</i> autonomy, shedding new light on the relation between nudging and autonomy.
