The Cutometer device was used to objectively measure skin elasticity. The assessment was supplemented by photographic documentation.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>A statistically significant improvement in skin elasticity assessed on the basis of R2 and R7 parameters (<i>p</i> < .0001, <i>p</i> = .001, respectively) was demonstrated after a series of five sessions of carboxytherapy combined with chemical peels. The improvement in the R2 parameter was observed in 82.1%, while R7 in 76.9% of study participants. It observed that the number of participants who benefited from treatment with ferulic acid and ascorbic acid was statistically higher compared with the second group (<i>p</i> = .036).
