期刊介绍: "Plant Protection" is an academic journal supervised by the China Association for Science and Technology and co-sponsored by the Chinese Society for Plant Protection and the Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Founded in 1963, it is published bimonthly. The journal primarily features original research papers and innovative, practical technical achievement articles in various fields of plant protection, including plant pathology, forestry and agricultural entomology, weeds and rodent pests, plant quarantine, and pesticides, with a priority given to articles of outstanding innovation. It includes regular sections such as Research Reports, Survey Studies, Research Briefs, and Technology and Applications, as well as irregular sections like Reviews and Syntheses, Experimental Methods and Techniques, Basic Knowledge, Pest Dynamics, Expert Perspectives, Debates, and Illustrated Plant Protection, along with additional small sections for scientific and technological information, society activities, book news, and meeting announcements. The readership encompasses teachers and graduate students from colleges and universities, researchers from agricultural and forestry scientific research institutes, plant protection technicians at various levels, plant quarantine workers, research and development personnel in pesticide companies, plant doctors, agricultural technology officers, agricultural technology extension personnel, and gardeners. The journal's mission is to promote the development of plant protection technology in China and to strengthen domestic and international academic exchanges; it adheres to a combination of theory and practice, oriented towards production, and aims to improve the basic theoretical knowledge and professional levels of plant protection technicians at all levels. "Plant Protection" has been indexed by numerous important domestic and international databases and scientific and technological abstract journal libraries, including CAB (UK), Agrindex (FAO), Chemical Abstracts (USA), Chinese Science Citation Database, Chinese Technology Journal Database, Biological Abstracts, Chinese Agricultural Abstracts Database, Chinese Science and Technology Paper and Citation Database, Chinese Journal Full-Text Database, Chinese Core Journal (Selection) Database, and Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database. It has been included in the China Knowledge Resource Total Library and the Top 500 Chinese Science and Technology Journals Database.
